Bishop Howard V. Winston
Bishop Howard V. Winston is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the Founder and Pastor of Trinity United Faith Center Church and the CEO of Trinity Outreach Ministries, Inc. Under the leadership of the late Bishop Ellis Keith, Pastor of the Congregational Holiness Church, Bishop Winston answered the call to ministry after serving as a deacon for fifteen years. In 1990 he answered the call to the Pastorate of Trinity United Faith Center Church.
Bishop Winston was educated in the Raleigh Public School System, later continuing his studies at the Raleigh School of Data Processing. He furthered his biblical studies at Saint Marks for five years, and has received teaching from great men of God, such as Dr. Frank B. Weaver, a Professor at Shaw Divinity School. He has also sat at the feet of great Bishops such as, Bishop Charles E. Williams of Philadelphia, PA and Bishop M. S. Nesbitt of Raleigh, NC.
Bishop Winston is recognized as a humanitarian to the community. His belief is that the ministry of the church must reach out beyond the four walls of the sanctuary. Trinity United Faith Center Church has become a church for the community. Under the pastorate of Bishop Winston, hundreds are fed monthly and clothed quarterly. Upon seeing the devastation of those affected by Hurricane Katrina, Bishop Winston along with two deacons of his church went to Mississippi and New Orleans to help build homes for the Katrina victims. He can often be heard saying, people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.
Bishop Winston’s preaching ministry has caused him to travel extensively across the United States and Europe. In addition to his extensive preaching ministry, Bishop Winston continues to be heard weekly on his local television broadcast and has been a featured guest on a Nationally Syndicated Radio Show.
On March 20, 2004 Bishop Winston was consecrated as the Presiding Bishop of Trinity United Faith Center Church and Trinity Outreach Ministries, Inc.
Bishop Winston is married to the lovely Lady Ralphine McLean Winston. He is the proud father of three beautiful daughters, Laponda Seberry (Kevin), Kimberly Moore (Elton) and Christy Howard (Jeremy) and the proud grandfather of Kevin, Kristopher, Maya, and Kaitlyn. He also has one godson, Travis Hylton. Most of all he is a servant of the Most High God.
